What is a LUG? (LEGO User Group)
A LEGO User Group or LUG for short is a group, usually comprised of adult collectors and builders referred to as an AFOL (Adult Fan Of LEGO) There are currently over 350 LUGs around the world with the heaviest concentration in North America.
Stevensville Show 12/05/25
We are often asked at the Hamilton show if we will be displaying again and this year the answer is yes! From 4-7pm inside the First Security Bank lobby our annual Christmas display will be available to view if you missed the Hamilton showing the previous week. This years holiday themed display will be "Santa's Caribbean Vacation" See where Santa goes to relax after delivering toys on Christmas an see if you can locate how many treasure chests are scattered among the islands and say hello to Popsy, Captain Redbeard's pet parrot. Join the islanders on the active volcano and more. 406LUG members will be on hand to answer questions.
BAM in Missoula? YES!
Coming to Missoula soon! We have just learned a Bricks and Minifigures store will soon be opening in Missoula. Currently the opening is slated for February or March. We will be posting exact dates for the Grand opening and location address when we have them.
Hamilton Christmas Display 2025
Christmas Display at the Hamilton, MT Christmas Village and tree lighting event November 29th. Be sure to stop inside the Signal Station Building from 4-8pm to see this years themed display, "Santa's Caribbean Vacation" by 406LUG. Find out where Santa goes every year to unwind after delivering all those toys to the good boys and girls. Not only is it a tropical paradise for Santa and Mrs. Claus, it's also where you'll find pirates, the island of misfit toys, Leggodt Volcano and more. This years challenge- see how many treasure chests you can spot scattered about.

New Website!
Our old site was a total mess and clunky at best to work with. Out with the old! We will strive to maintain a running blog of meetings and events 406LUG is involved.
October Meeting 2025
While most are planning what to wear for Halloween and going to Grandmas house for Thanksgiving next month, 406LUG has been in the planning and building stages for our annual Christmas display. For 2025 we will be showcasing in Hamilton and Stevensville MT during the annual town Christmas festivities. Each year we develop and build a new theme, this year being "Santa's Caribbean Vacation" Where does he go to relax after delivering all those toys? To a private place filled with tropical islands and our usual zany antics.
Meeting notes include recent buys from the pick a brick wall at the LEGO store for parts planned to be used in the Christmas 2026 display. 2026? Yes, as of this year in order to not give ourselves crippling anxiety we are planning themes now 2 years out. What is the 2026 theme? You'll have to wait till next year to find out or join the group and be a part of it.
